About

Belize

Belize is a small country in Central America nestled between dense jungle to the west and the Caribbean coastline to the east. The country boasts some of the best fishing and diving in the world, which is largely attributed to being home to the world's second-largest barrier reef - the Meso American Barrier Reef. Beyond the reef, Belize is home to tropical rainforests and jungles that host rare animals and a rich mayan heritage visible in ancient ruins and temples.

Belizeans are known for their friendly and welcoming demeanor. While English is the official language, you'll often hear locals conversing in Creole, a distinct dialect that sounds like English…but not quite!

The Reef

Belize is home to the Belize Barrier Reef, spanning approximately 190 miles along its coastline. The reef is a hotspot for fishing, snorkelling, and diving. The crystal clear waters host an impressive diversity including over 500 fish species and numerous coral varieties, with over 65 species of hard coral and around 36 species of soft coral. Anglers worldwide are drawn to its rich marine life, making Belize a premier destination for both fishing enthusiasts and those seeking underwater adventures.
